In 2006, Celine and Gillian successfully graduated from the University of Malta where they obtained a Diploma in Sports & leisure studies.

Acknowledging the difficulties of students who wanted to pursue a career in the fitness industry, Celine and Gillian looked into the possibility of offering courses in exercise to music.

They were soon affiliated with OCR (Oxford, Cambridge and Royal Society of Arts), a registered governing body within the fitness industry. They directed their first course in exercise to music in 2008. The successful students were awarded a certification to teach exercise to music which is recognised world wide. They also continued their own education by obtaining their certification in OCR advanced gym instruction and personal training (level 3).

The following year, they directed the second course in exercise to music which was also successful. At the start of 2010, due to the demand Celine and Gillian decided that it was time to offer also gym instructor courses as well as exercise to music. Both courses were very well attended. In 2012 they offered their first course in personal training for instructors who already held a level 2 qualification.

The upcoming courses commencing in March 2014 will be certified and accredited by Active IQ.

Celine and Gillian have also held short modules in indoor cycling, step and conditioning geared towards instructors as on going education in the field.

In the same way as they encourage their students to remain updated with the industry, Celine and Gillian also believe in their own continuous personal development and are in the process of completing a tutor training course in “Preparing to Teach in the Life Long Learning Sector”. Among their recent qualifications is Zumba training, Zumba tonic training and TRX training.
